What is SINCPEC?

The Singapore National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (SINCPEC) is Singapore's national charter in the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC). SINCPEC is a tripartite organization consisting of academics, government officials and businessmen.

Representatives:

The government is represented by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Representatives from the academia include people from the Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies and the Institute of Policy Studies.
